Custom Calligraphy Rates 2015

Custom Canvases: Custom pieces take a lot longer to produce than pieces that are generated from my mind. They take a lot of planning, coordinating, and sketching to ensure that all the details are correct before getting it onto a canvas.  The following price list are rough estimates. Each piece varies depending on details, type of canvas, and placement of calligraphy letters.

Custom Calligraphy: Set up fee for all calligraphy pieces are $100. That means that to design the calligraphy words and phrases you want and do proofs until you approve it costs $100. You will receive 3 options to choose from initially and then the project will commence from there.

Add $100 to the following canvas size pricing:

16" x 20"-  $110  and up
24" x 36"-   $250 and up
40" x 40" - $300 and up
36" x 48"- $500 and up
36" x 60"  $800 and up

Prices depend on intricacy and detail specified

Time to completion:
Please allow 2 - 3 months for a custom piece. I try to get it done before that but  I like to leave room to keep looking at the painting to try to make it better. When you step away from a painting and look at it again, colors are set and true and can be improved upon. Also, the eye will catch things that were not seen previously.

Pickup: Coordination to meet somewhere can be made. You are invited to come and pick up from my art studio in Silverado Canyon upon notification of completion.
